The DIPD Privacy policy

We store your personal information securely and confidentially

DIPD collects personal information via our website and when you send us emails or letters. Whether you visit our website, fill out one of our forms, or write to us, we always collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable law and guidelines. We respect all wishes to keep personal information confidential, and we are aware that the personal information we receive must be protected and treated properly.

When you visit the website, by personal or written contact or otherwise submit personal data to DIPD, you also accept our personal data policy.

DIPD collects and uses personal information in two ways:

1. Personal information you provide yourself
We collect and process personally identifiable information about name, title, company / organization, address, email, telephone numbers, CVs, etc.

This personal information is used for the following purposes:

  •     Registration for events / courses
  •     Newsletter subscription
  •     Replying to emails or letters
  •     Assessment of potential employees or consultants

2. Statistics about your visit to our website
At DIPD.dk we do not use cookies for tracking, personalization or marketing.
We use the traffic analysis tool from Matomo to follow the users on our pages. We have opted out of not being able to recognize returning visitors, therefore we do not use cookies.

However, some pages require cookies, for example when playing YouTube videos. YouTube sets a cookie that we cannot turn off. YouTube uses cookies to track the use of the video and target marketing. Before playing the video, we therefore ask for consent for these cookies to be set.

Security, storage and deletion of personal data and data
When you sign up for our events or, we take good care of your information and use your data only for the specific purposes you have given us. The security of data follows the Danish Data Protection Agency's requirements and recommendations

Your personal information will be deleted when we no longer need to process it for the fulfillment of one or more of the above purposes. However, we may process and store your personal information for statistical purposes for up to 24 months. If we store them longer, we will do so in anonymised form, unless it is information related to employment and consulting assignments, where we are obliged to store the information for up to 5 years.

Disclosure of information
We do not pass on any personal information mentioned under point 1 to third parties unless you have given us your consent. Data about your use of the Website is passed on to third parties in restricted cases in connection with the display of videos on YouTube. You can see this on our cookie policy.

We use subcontractors for storage and processing of data, eg website hosting and administration of subscribers to newsletters. The suppliers process information only on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.

Insights and complaints
You have the right to be informed of the personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent for information about you to be processed. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. Just contact us via DIPD@dipd.dk.
If you want to complain about our processing of your personal data, you also have the opportunity to contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.
