The Danish Red-Green Alliance
The Red-Green Alliance is a socialist grasroot party serving as support to the Social Democratic government
In 1989, three left-wing parties (the Left Socialist Party, the Communist Party of Denmark and the Socialist Workers Party) formed the The Danish Red-Green Alliance (Enhedslisten).
The party opposes corporate driven globalization, neoliberal policies and privatization. It focuses on the environment and public sector development. Following the parliamentary elections in 2022, the party is in opposition to the centre coalition government under Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
