Project: 2018 - 2020

The Danish Socialist People’s Party cooperates with Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) on efforts to combat electoral violence often coordinated by politically active youth. Most of the recorded incidents of violence are perpetrated by political youth groups, led by the youth leaders of the parties, especially the NPP and the NDC. For this reason, there is focus on meaningfully involving youth wings of political parties in politics to prevent violence. This is being done by creating Peace Boot Camps for youth politicians in specific districts.
