The Denmark Democrats
The Denmark Democrats are the country's youngest party, and it became the country's fifth largest party in the 2022 general election.
The Denmark Democrats was founded in the summer of 2022 by Inger Støjberg, a former minister for the Liberal Party. Less than 24 hours after its founding, the party succeeded in collecting the necessary voter declarations to become eligible for election.
The party is a conservative party with a strict immigration policy and a focus on the balance between rural and urban areas as its primary key issues.
In the general election in November 2022, the Denmark Democrats won 14 seats in the Danish Parliament. They are currently in opposition to the government.
