In late November, we received 70 representatives from DIPD partners around the world here in Denmark. They came from far reaches of the world with one collective purpose; to observe the 2017 Danish local elections. We happily received representatives from 13 different countries, namely Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Bhutan, Myanmar, Palestine, Nepal, Egypt, Columbia, Ukraine, Bolivia, Philippines and Malaysia
The KV17 Study Tour has been an opportunity to share, inspire and learn – not only from the Danish local democracy but also by fostering relations and knowledge sharing across delegations. At the same time, it was also an occasion for DIPD and the Danish political parties to learn from the delegates experiences with local politics in their home countries.
