Myanmar Youth Delegation Meets with Speaker of Danish Parliament

As part of DIPDs Youth in Political Parties Project in Myanmar, DIPD invited a delegation of Myanmar political party youth representatives to study the Danish democratic system. On 9 June, this delegation met with Mogens Lykketoft, the Speaker of the Danish Parliament. They discussed Myanmar’s political transition and considered how the youth can make a contribution to change during this crucial time in Myanmar’s history.

Successful conference on Women in Politics

210 global participants gathered on June 3–4 in Copenhagen for a Women in Politics conference organised by KVINFO and DIPD, in celebration of the 100th anniversary for women’s suffrage in Denmark. A memorable conference has come to an end. Great speeches, lively panel debates and inspirational role models have all helped to form a successful conference on women in politics.
